4 Preserve French craftsmanship Since its creation in 2005, the EPV label has highlighted unique companies that reconcile innovation and tradition, know-how and creation, work and passion, heritage and future, local and international. This state label is attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance and awarded by the prefects of the region. Its management was entrusted to INMA (Institut National des Métiers d’Art) in 2019. It is the only State label awarded to a company for all its activity, guaranteeing the excellence of its know-how according to demanding eligibility criteria. The Living Heritage Companies constitute an important part of the artisanal fabric and are proud ambassadors of French historical and future know-how. Awarded for a period of five years, this label brings together manufacturers who share common values in their activities: the high performance of businesses and products, permanent attention to internal training, a technically and socially innovative approach, and a dynamic commercial strategy. It is a national network of companies of excellence also reconciling adaptability, responsiveness, innovation, and passion for the profession. Ligne Roset has been labeled EPV since 2022, for the excellence of its know-how and for its roots in Ain (OR ARA) since 1860. This label attests to the high degree of excellence of artisanal and industrial know-how of the family business.
